The JD1D Jig Dog Invader was the U.S. Navys utility version of the Douglas A26 Invader adapted for naval use postWorld War II. Nicknamed Jig Dog, these aircraft were painted in bright, highvisibility liveries to distinguish them during secondary missions and minimize risk during fleet exercises.
